Custom Built Dexter Trailer Axles

Build the Dexter axle beam the way you want it. Pick the capacity. Pick a straight beam or a drop. Set the hub face to the trailer, then choose the camber, the spring seats, and the options on that beam. This is not a stock axle. You build it.

What you can build

• Capacity: 2,000 lb., 3,500 lb., 4,400 lb., 5,200 lb., 6,000 lb., 7,000 lb., 7,200 lb., or 8,000 lb.
• Style: Straight. A 4" drop on most capacities. A 6" drop on the 3,500 lb. beam. A narrow overhang on the 8,000 lb. beam.
• Hub face: 45" to 95". Hub face is the measurement from the wheel mount on one hub to the same point on the other hub.
• Camber and spring seats: Straight, seats ship loose. Straight, seats welded on. Cambered, seats welded over the axle. Cambered, seats welded under the axle. Cambered, seats ship loose.
• On the form, when that beam offers it: Tube and wall, E-Z Lube, a brake flange, and pre-wire. A yes on those is an additional cost. Every beam does not offer every option.

Fitment note

Fill in the spring center only if the seats are welded. The overhang range is on that beam. Leave it blank and the seats ship loose. These listings are beams. Hubs, springs, hangers, and U-bolts are not included. The axle is built to order. Once the order is placed it cannot be changed or returned. Verify the hub face and spring center before you order, or call and we will walk the form with you.
