Dexter® 12 ¼ Electric Brake Assemblies

Genuine Dexter® 12-1/4" electric brake assemblies from Southwest Wheel® are complete OEM backing-plate units for heavy-duty trailer axles from 7,200 lbs. through 15,000 lbs. Each assembly includes the backing plate, shoes and lining, magnet, springs, and hardware so you can bolt it to the axle flange and connect the wiring without rebuilding the old brake.

Match the assembly to your drum width, axle rating, bolt pattern, and left or right side. Replace brakes in pairs on the same axle so both wheels apply evenly. Confirm magnet kit and shoe part numbers before ordering, because 3-3/8", 4", and 5" drums are not interchangeable.
