Dexter® 12" Hydraulic Assemblies

Genuine Dexter® 12" hydraulic brake assemblies from Southwest Wheel® are complete OEM backing-plate units for 5,200 lb. and 7,000 lb. trailer axles using surge or electric-over-hydraulic actuators. Each assembly includes the backing plate, shoes and lining, wheel cylinder, springs, and hardware so you can bolt it to the axle flange and connect the brake line without rebuilding the old brake.

Match the assembly to your axle rating, left or right side, and whether you need free-backing or a parking brake lever. Replace brakes in pairs on the same axle so both wheels apply evenly. After installation, bleed the hydraulic system and fill the actuator with the recommended DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid.
