Dexter® 7.2K Hub-Drum Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 7.2K hub-drum kits at Southwest Wheel® for 7,200 lb. trailer axles. These OEM hub-drums replace a worn 7.2K wheel end and typically use a 12-1/4" x 2-1/2" drum with an 8 on 6.50" bolt circle. Oil-bath and Nev-R-Lube® options are used on Dexter 7.2K-8K series axles, with 5/8" or 9/16" studs depending on the kit.

Do not mix a 7.2K 12-1/4" x 2-1/2" hub-drum with a 7K 12" x 2" drum. Confirm stud size and grease vs. oil vs. Nev-R-Lube® before ordering. After install, set Dexter bearing preload or follow Nev-R-Lube® service instructions, then torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s spec.
