Dexter® 3.5K Hub-Drum Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 3.5K hub-drum kits at Southwest Wheel® for 3,500 lb. electric and hydraulic trailer axles. These OEM 10" hub-drums replace a worn or cracked drum so the shoes and magnet or wheel cylinder have a true braking surface. Common kits are 5 on 4.50" with 1/2"-20 studs, a 1.718" seal, and a standard or E-Z Lube® grease cap. Complete kits with bearings and lug nuts are also available.

Use a hub-drum on a braked 3.5K axle. An idler hub will not give you a braking surface. Match bolt circle, cap style, and whether the kit includes bearings. After install, set Dexter bearing preload, adjust the 10" brakes, and torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s spec.
