Description

The AlumaLite™ aluminum drop hitch with dual ball balances strength with weight savings to make towing and leveling a trailer easier than ever. The lightweight billet aluminum makes handling and installation of the shank straightforward and simple. The shank allows for 10" of drop in precise, 1" increments, making raising or lowering the 2" or 2-5/16" ball convenient and easy. The AlumaLite aluminum drop hitch is also universally compatible with a 2.5" x 2.5" hitch receiver with 5/8" hitch pin holes. A drop hitch is essential for towing any trailer with a differing height than the tow vehicle. An imbalanced trailer can lead to improper weight distribution and cause the vehicle-trailer connection to sag or lift, which can lead to trailer sway and result in an accident. A drop hitch resolves this issue by compensating for differing vehicle-tailer heights and preventing the uneven distribution of weight across the vehicle-trailer connection, providing a safe and secure towing experience. The AlumaLite aluminum drop hitch is made from billet aluminum and features a polished aluminum finish that is stylish and easy to handle.
