When you’re done towing, flip it to the stowed position to keep your setup clean. The shank flips to give you up to 5" of drop or 5-1/2" of rise, so dialing in the right height is straightforward. Safety isn’t an afterthought either. This mount is tested to SAE J684 standards and then pushed beyond industry norms through CURT’s own fatigue testing. The built-in theft-protected design keeps the dual ball assembly locked to the mount during use, adding another layer of confidence.
