Genuine Dexter® brake cylinder and rebuild kits from Southwest Wheel® service Dexter hydraulic trailer brakes from 7" through 12-1/4". Choose a complete wheel cylinder when the bore is worn, or a piston rebuild kit when the cylinder body is still in good condition and only the cups, boots, and piston need to be replaced.

Match the Dexter kit to drum size, piston diameter, and uni-servo vs. duo-servo vs. free-backing style. Replace cylinders in pairs on the same axle when possible. After installation, bleed the system and fill the actuator with the recommended DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid. Do not mix cylinder kits between 7", 10", 12", and 12-1/4" brakes.
