Dexter® 9K-10K Hub-Drum Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 9K-10K hub-drum kits at Southwest Wheel® for 9,000 lb. and 10,000 lb. General Duty braked axles. These OEM oil hub-drums replace a worn 9K-10K GD wheel end and typically use a 12-1/4" x 3-3/8" drum, an 8 on 6.50" bolt circle, and a 4.75" pilot. Dexter changed the GD hub-drum series around July 2009 and April 2013, including ABS-ready drums on later axles.

These are General Duty hub-drums, not 10K Heavy Duty 12-1/4" x 4" drums. Match the axle build date and ABS vs. non-ABS drum before ordering. After install, fill the oil cap to Dexter spec, adjust the 12-1/4" brakes, and torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s rating.
