Dexter® 7K Hub-Drum Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 7K hub-drum kits at Southwest Wheel® for 7,000 lb. electric and hydraulic trailer axles. These OEM 12" x 2" hub-drums replace a worn or cracked 7K drum so the shoes and magnet or wheel cylinder have a true braking surface. Common kits use an 8 on 6.50" bolt circle, 1/2"-20 studs, and a 2.125" seal, with a standard cap, E-Z Lube® cap, or a pre-greased easy-assemble kit.

Use a hub-drum on a braked 7K axle. Do not mix a 7K 12" x 2" drum with a 7.2K 12-1/4" x 2-1/2" drum. After install, set Dexter bearing preload, adjust the 12" brakes, and torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s spec.
