Dexter® 7K Hub Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 7K hub kits at Southwest Wheel® for 7,000 lb. idler trailer axles. These OEM hubs replace a worn 7K wheel end on an unbraked axle. Common kits use an 8 on 6.50" bolt circle with 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 studs, a 2.125" or 2.25" seal, and a standard or E-Z Lube® grease cap. Use a 7K hub-drum kit when the axle has 12" electric or hydraulic brakes.

A 7K idler hub does not include a brake drum. Confirm stud size and cap style before ordering, and do not mix a 7K 12" hub with a 7.2K 12-1/4" hub. After install, set Dexter bearing preload and torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s spec.
