Dexter® 6K Hub-Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 6K hub kits at Southwest Wheel® for 6,000 lb. idler trailer axles. These OEM hubs replace a worn 6K wheel end on an unbraked axle. Common kits use a 6 on 5.50" bolt circle and include zinc-plated hubs with parts or Trailer Buddy-style caps. Use a 6K hub-drum kit instead when the axle has 12" electric or hydraulic brakes.

A 6K idler hub does not include a brake drum. Confirm bolt circle, cap style, and bearing numbers before ordering. After install, set Dexter bearing preload and torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s spec.
