Dexter® 6K Hub-Drum Kit

Shop genuine Dexter® 6K hub-drum kits at Southwest Wheel® for 6,000 lb. electric and hydraulic trailer axles. These OEM 12" x 2" hub-drums replace a worn or cracked 6K drum so the shoes and magnet or wheel cylinder have a true braking surface. Listed kits use a 6 on 5.50" bolt circle and 1/2"-20 studs, with 2.125" or 2.25" seals and a standard or E-Z Lube® grease cap.

Match seal size and cap style before ordering. Do not mix a 6K hub-drum with a 5.2K or 7K drum unless the Dexter number matches. After install, set Dexter bearing preload, adjust the 12" brakes, and torque the lug nuts to the wheel manufacturer’s spec.
