Dexter® 7" Hydraulic Brake Assemblies

Genuine Dexter® 7" hydraulic brake assemblies from Southwest Wheel® are complete OEM backing-plate units for 2,000 lb. and 2,200 lb. trailer axles using surge or electric-over-hydraulic actuators. Each assembly includes the backing plate, shoes and lining, wheel cylinder, springs, and hardware so you can bolt it to the axle flange and connect the brake line without rebuilding the old brake.

Match the assembly to the left or right side before ordering. Replace brakes in pairs on the same axle so both wheels apply evenly. After installation, bleed the hydraulic system and fill the actuator with the recommended DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid. 7" hydraulic assemblies are not interchangeable with 7" electric or 10" hydraulic brakes.
