Exceptional
ride quality
Engineered with a longer hanger than used by
other makers, the 240's maintain a horizontal
type geometry between the single pivot bushing
and the axle center. This geometry eliminates
the longitudinal jerks on the trailer that are
transferred to the tractors fifth wheel,
improving the efficiency of both driver and
vehicle.
Ridewell's design geometry reduces the
over-extension of shock absorbers and air
springs so that their full service life is
attained. While performing as a pivot for
extreme axle articulation, the 240's single,
massive bushing also acts as a load cushioning
element in addition to the air spring.

for pivot bushing is lock-bolted with the Huckbolt
fastening system for consistent, reliable
clamp-up.

reliable eccentric bolt at left and right-hand
pivots allows simple axle alignment by installer
and end-user.

shock absorbers and pre-drilled height control
valve bracketry insure precise installation and
proper shock and air spring tolerances.
